MaryLouise Jani, PT, MS, PCS, C/NDT, has 40 years experience working with children in a variety of practice settings. Ms.Jani received a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Temple University, and a Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy with specialization in Mental Retardation/Developmental Disabilities from Boston University. She is certified in Neurodevelopmental Treatment (NDT), having completed the Pediatrics and Baby Treatment courses. She has received board certification as a Pediatric Clinical Specialist (PCS) from the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialists (ABPTS).
Past experience includes working in neonatal intensive care, high risk infant follow up, early intervention programs, public schools, outpatient pediatric clinics, inpatient subacute pediatric rehab, and private practice. In addition, Ms Jani is a Credentialed Clinical Instructor for physical therapy students, has been an Adjunct and Assistant Professor at 2 Physical Therapist Assistant Programs, and has been an invited speaker at numerous continuing education programs.
Ms Jani received C1 certification by the Barcelona Scoliosis Physiotherapy School (BSPTS) in 3-D Treatment of Scoliosis According to the Principles from Schroth in March 2015, and C2 certification in April 2016 , and has expanded her expertise in working with children, adolescents and adults with scoliosis. MaryLou strives to provide the highest level of quality care to all of her clients, and is a firm believer in the team approach for meeting the specific needs of every individual.
