Dr. Rothman graduated with honors from Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and Sports Studies with a minor in Professional Youth Work in 2009.  She then earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Rutgers University (formally University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey) in 2015. She graduated with high honors and received an Academic Award and a Research Award from her program.  While a student she also served as a Teacher’s Assistant for the department's Anatomy and Neuroscience classes. She also participated in several research projects and did a Summer Research Internship while a student.  She continues to work with Rutgers University and is an adjunct faculty member for the Physical Therapy Department.

Dr. Rothman has gained experience in working with individuals with multiple orthopedic and neuromuscular conditions.   She is C1 certified by Schroth-Barcelona Institute and is very passionate about her work with patients that have scoliosis.  Aside from treating patients in the clinic, she is also very involved in related research projects for people that have scoliosis/kyphosis.  She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and also has her certification for Dry Needling.

In between her undergraduate and graduate schooling, she travelled and lived in multiple in countries including Australia, New Zealand and France.  Dr. Rothman and her husband are avid travelers, and, in their downtime, they enjoy hiking, camping and taking trips with their daughter and son.  Jennifer is fluent in English and speaks high level French
