Dana Edwards received her bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences from James Madison University in 2007 and her clinical doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ in 2010. She has worked in a variety of settings including inpatient rehabilitation at St Joseph’s Hospital in Wayne NJ, pediatric rehabilitation at PRNY in Totowa NJ, and currently practices full time in outpatient orthopedics at West Milford Physical Therapy in West Milford NJ. She currently holds a C1 and C2 certification in the 3-Dimensional treatment of scoliosis from the Barcelona Scoliosis Physiotherapy School, which she obtained in 2014 and 2016 respectively, and offers Schroth treatment at the PRNY clinic part time.
Dana is very involved in the professional PT association, the APTA, on the national level and is serving her third term as a NJ delegate. She is member of the orthopedic section within the APTA. She is involved in advocacy efforts within the professional organization and has served as a student PT mentor as a clinical instructor.
